Here's a look at the latest Pappus of Bollywood, who despite having urged people and fans to vote failed to exercise their franchise on the final day.
Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, who owns the Rajasthan Royals, decided to stay put in South Africa to cheer her team on. Interestingly, the actress may have decided to skip the voting season, but that did not stop her from advising others to exercise their franchise 
Kareena Kapoor, who was seen in a Karana Johar video appealing people to come out and vote, gave it a skip. The size zero actress was busy shooting in New York
In fact Bebo's boyfriend Saif Ali Khan was also with his lady love in New York as a result both of them were absent on April 30. 
Priyanka Chopra, who was also part of the promotional video, was in Mumbai but didn't bother to move out to cast her vote 
Despite being in the city, Shahid Kapur also forgot to go out and vote. This is called a failed promise 
Akshay 'khiladi' Kumar who was also busy shooting didn't bother to vote 
Though her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor played a responsible citizen, actress Deepika Padukone, who was the first time voter, also forgot to vote 
Though her co-actors Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan made sure that they were present in Mumbai on the day of vote, Preity Zinta was busy cheering her IPL team Kings XI in South Africa. 
Bipasha Basu, whose boyfriend John Abraham not only came to cast his vote but also helped an elderly woman reach the booth, didn't make it to the booth. 
Salman Khan, who was the star campaigner for candidates from several parties, he was rooting for the person, not the party, said the actor, was nowhere to be seen on April 30 as he is shooting for Veer in London.
